“Envoys will come from Egypt; Cush will submit herself to God” (psalms 68:31 niv).
Dear friends,
We invite you to join us and others for this special time of prayer.
Gathering of Sudanese abroad and inland to seek God’s face for the healing of their nation.
I felt impressed of the lord to share some thoughts with you as we pray for our nation and the things God wants to do in our country.
You may be aware of the current situation of our nation, the crises between the government of south Sudan and the government of national unity of Khartoum.
God wants us ask and to seek Him with our whole heart (see Jer 29:13, Matt 7:7-8). Let us also pray for our leaders, that they will want Jesus to touch them as well.
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their sins. I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land” (2Chronicles 7:14)
Let us pray and cooperate (co-labor) with everyone to pray for Sudan and the leaders.
Quoted from team in Minneapolis
We are declaring Saturday November 17th 2007 a day for prayer for Sudan, by no authority other than the burden God has put in our hearts and the decision taken in our prayer meeting of October 20th, 2007. (Minneapolis team). Therefore, come before God as you may, with or without fasting. Rent your hearts, not your clothes, seek God, repent and intercede so God may have mercy upon us and heal our land. The hearts of the kings are in the hand of God. Our job is to pray and intercede as Paul wrote in 1Timothy 2:1-2 “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful, quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
Thank you
God bless
